The Irish Independent is a newspaper. The Indo Daily is their new podcast. Same in depth reporting, new 20 minute format. Editorial meets audio. So to promote the podcast we made a whole new thing we call an ‘auditorial’ ad. It’s a long copy ad in the shape of a Spotify code that links you directly to the show or even the episode in question when you scan it through the Spotify search bar.

They normally look this, but with a little research and a lot of trial and error, we got it to work. I thought I was genius. Mikey thought I was an asshole as he was the one who had to craft a long copy ad that was about the episode, explained how to use the innovation, fit the line breaks exactly, and had to actually make sense.
