The Irish Independent is a newspaper. The Indo Daily is their new podcast. Same in depth reporting, new 20 minute format. Editorial meets audio. So to promote the podcast we made a whole new thing we call an ‘auditorial’ ad. It’s a long copy ad in the shape of a Spotify code that links you directly to the show or even the episode in question when you scan it through the Spotify search bar. 


They normally look the below, but with a little research and a lot of trial and error, we got it to work as text and the Indo logo. I thought I was genius. Mikey thought I was an asshole as he was the one who had to craft a long copy ad that was about the episode, explained how to use the tech, fit the line breaks exactly, and had to actually have it all make sense. The ICADs we won are rightfully all his for that.
